I’m Isabelle!

I’m an enthusiastic artist and student who is passionate about sound and aspires to work in the world of Audio.

My Most Recent Project!

This project involves working with a team of fellow students to recreate a scene from the movie WALL-E from scratch. We recorded all of our own Foley sounds and dialogue. My responsibilities include composing the musical score, voicing WALL-E, assisting with audio post-production, and serving as the lead Foley artist.

Collaborative

Teamwork is one of my core values. I believe the best results come from collaborating in a supportive, innovative environment where every team member’s ideas are valued. As a leader, I prioritize creating a space where everyone feels heard, and I thrive in team settings—especially when brainstorming and exchanging ideas to spark creativity and drive progress.

My Approach

Creative

I approach everything with a creative mindset, from communication to problem-solving and work. Growing up in an artistic family, I’ve always seen creativity as fundamental. As an audio engineer, I view sound as an art form, using it to paint a picture and express creativity in ways that are often underrated.

Projects and Experience

SFSU AES

As President of San Francisco State University's chapter of the Audio Engineering Society, I am responsible for facilitating and planning meetings. I coordinate with industry professionals, including those from organizations such as Women's Audio Mission, to speak at our events and offer guidance to aspiring audio engineers. One of my primary duties is organizing campus AES events, which includes developing event concepts, coordinating equipment needs, and promoting the events to students and faculty. I also collaborate with other student organizations and departments to create workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations that enrich our members' educational experience and strengthen our community presence.

KSFS Radio

I host The Spooky Hour, a weekly radio show on KSFS where I get to indulge my lifelong love of all things creepy. The show is my little sanctuary, a place where I can be my weird spooky self. On the show I talk about my favorite horror films and games, perform dramatic readings of eerie short stories and creepypastas, and select music with gothic and autumnal vibes to set the mood. Doing the show I get to blend storytelling, music curation, and my passion for the macabre into one kooky experience. It’s a space for fellow spooky souls to unwind, feel seen, and celebrate the strange and weird.

This is a collection of creative projects I've been involved in that don’t necessarily relate to audio. I have skills in makeup artistry and acting as well.
