Audio Engineering Society

As President of San Francisco State University's chapter of the Audio Engineering Society, I am responsible for facilitating and planning meetings. I coordinate with industry professionals, including those from organizations such as Women's Audio Mission, to speak at our events and offer guidance to aspiring audio engineers. One of my primary duties is organizing campus AES events, which includes developing event concepts, coordinating equipment needs, and promoting the events to students and faculty. I also collaborate with other student organizations and departments to create workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations that enrich our members' educational experience and strengthen our community presence.

AES Meets Womens Audio Mission!

A representative from Women’s Audio Mission joined one of our meetings to discuss internship opportunities. We covered a range of important topics, including sexism in the audio industry, strategies for standing out, building a strong portfolio, and gaining professional experience.
